 give it a shot.
here is the terminal command again

hdiutil makehybrid -udf-volume-name DVDNAME -o ~/Desktop/filename.iso ~/Desktop
Replace 'DVDNAME' with the name you want to want to assign to the disc. Replace 'filename.iso' with a name for a disc image generated by the command.
