The fact that you even care about evening out your ratio is a good thing, and leeching from old torrents gives you nothing in return for upping your ratio (no one else wants to download) but if something you like is freshly-uploaded to the tracker, you can help your ratio by jumping on it and downloading it first, then seeding to the other people who download it. In fact that's how i evened out my ratio, I don't think I've ever shared torrents on this particular tracker.

If you are in search of traders of a specific artist, you can check out the db.etree.org database to find shows you want with lists of people who have them and you can set up trades.
