Get yourself Crystal Disk Info (freeware, Standard Edition is more than enough) and run it.

If any of your drives is marked red - backup everything asap. Share the results (screenshots) if unsure.

It is extremely unlikely that a faulty drive would be "repaired" to trusted state, so if you like your stored data, better get yourself new hard drive.

Note that there are only 3 manufacturers left: Western Digital, Toshiba and Seagate (I personally avoid the latter like a plague - nothing but problems with them, all the Seagates I had so far already landed in a skip).
