Well, if the DVB-S broadcast is the only available source this is the best you can get. A raw (video?) bitstream demuxed to mp2. Nothing wrong then, atleast it's not cascade encoded into some other lossy format as many DVB-x recodings tend to be.
A flac-conversion of this wouldn't be any better, ofcourse.
