Trader's Little Helper Newbie Question
Hi All,
I just today installed Trader's Little Helper. I'm having no problem converting shn's to flac's. However whenever I try to convert .wav files to .flac from commercially-released CD's, no wav files from the cd appear. Here's what I'm doing at TLH: Click 'Format'>Encode wav files (encoding options format set to 'flac') I then click 'Add' Then I go to my DVD-RW drive where said commercially-released cd is located and I keep getting "No Items Match Your Search." The CD and the wav files are there in my DVD-RW drive but "No items" keep popping up. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance! Re: Trader's Little Helper Newbie Question
Rip the files from your cd to your hard drive, then add them from there to the TLH directory.

Re: Trader's Little Helper Newbie Question
A CD is not WAV files. TLH is expecting you to have a set of WAV files on your hard disc to be encoded, not the content of a redbook CD.
As was said, you need to rip the CD to create a set of WAV files on disc. EAC, dBPoweramp, etc will do this for you The following members like this post: vladsmythe
