not much else you can do if the guy who authored the DVD didn't pay attention to the size and you don't want to alter it. virtual DVD drives: https://www.raymond.cc/blog/10-free-...tual-drives/2/

Re: torrent too big for dual layer dvd
When I first started uploading here, it was a concern for me to make sure that the uploads would fit onto 1, 2 or 3 CDs.
These days, most folks will be listening to them straight from the files, so it's not an issue. I would have thought the same applies, or is beginning to apply, for video too.... No members have liked this post.

If you want to be able to burn the show onto multiple discs without having to shrink the quality, then you can re-author it. You will lose the menus (but you can create new ones if you like) No members have liked this post.

Re: torrent too big for dual layer dvd
If it is an authored DVD, any decent computer media player can open the directory as a DVD and play it fine, or at the least play the individual .VOB files. If you just want to archive it to DVD, you can copy individual files to multiple data discs, to reconstruct on a computer later. Otherwise, you'd need to re-author it as DanielG stated.
