download/upload ratio problem/help?

hi,
im experiencing some problems with my ratio...

i havent been downloading from this tracker in a month, but my download GB keeps increasing (not that much, just a bit at a time)

how is this possible?

does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

What client are you using (and version) and what operating system? This bit of information could help with us solving your problem. (Or you could used google or wiki to investigate this yourself).

Also, I see you are currently active on 3 shows. Did you forget about them?

It is possible that even though you are complete with the 3 shows, your client will from time to time download a bit of info and this gets counted towards your ratio. This is my guess until more info comes to light or Lynne and her all knowing head rears itself.

I've had a few people have this same problem - ratio changing and yet they swear they are not downloading/uploading but it is obvious that *someone* is downloading/uploading on their account. It turns out that they forgot that they posted the torrent on another site. But, if you post the torrent on another site, people who use that torrent will be affecting *your* stats since the torrent is personalized just for you. Also, once you hand out your personalized torrent, you are handing out your passkey and they can use it to hop onto ANY torrent here and they will all affect your stats.

You may reset your passkey in your User CP. After you do, you will need to replace your torrent files on your harddrive (the little .torrent file, not all your flac files, DVD files, etc) in order to seed your shows.

the only 3 torrents active that i have are the one im uploading.
and no, i did not post my personalized links to other site that i know of...what i did was open the torrent from the forum and paste that link to another board? would that affect it as well

im using IE7...

I'm not sure what you mean here - "open the torrent from the forum and paste that link to another board? ". However, I did take a screenshot of your stats last night and the upload number is slowly going up. The download number hasn't changed though. Why don't we keep an eye on it for a bit. If you notice your stats changing again, make sure to check your profile and see that the only shows showing up in Currently Active are shows that you are on.
