			hello my lite-on dvd burner quit working and i was wondering if any one has any information on which brand of dvd / cd burner is the most reliable. And as far as which brand of blank dvd's cd's is the best.

			I like plextor burners---currently using one without lightscribe as I feel that is what kills most burners! 
		
		
		
		
		
		
CD's= taiyo yugen(my spelling sux) dvd's= I use dvd+r's from ty and maxell and the best dual layer dvd's seem to come from verbatim! No members have liked this post.

			very good advice above. except I would avoid maxell media.
