How to rip audio from a DVD

I have a System of A Down dual layer disc that contains the album in a 5.1 mix on the dvd side. I was wondering if there's a free program or software that can extract the audio to a lossless file format. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

			5.1 generally isn't lossless.

it's probably AC3 compressed you'll want to extract the data, as it is, using this: http://download.cnet.com/DVD-Audio-E...-10306846.html and see what the audio is after you 'demux' the VOB (split the audio from the video contained in the VOB).
