Searching for torrents by date

Hi like-minded folks,

I feel really dumb, but I can't figure this out. I'm trying to search for torrents of shows on February 24 any years (my Mom's birthday - thought it would be fun to get her a bunch of shows that happened on her birthday over the years).

I am searching for *02-24 or 02-24 and keep getting no results. Possible there just aren't any - but when I search the same way for a date of a show that is clearly listed on the first page of the audio torrent forum - still no results. So either the search function doesn't work, or I am an idiot and doing something wrong.

Thanks for any help someone can provide.

I think shows are tagged with the dates so you could do a tag search for 02-24-2000 etc. but the tag will include the year so that would require separate searches for each year AFAIK.

This sounds like a thoughtful venture you are doing for Mom.

I just tried this and it worked. Click on Search at the top of the page, from the drop-down list select tag search. You must use the zero in front of the 2 for the month of February

I use "Search titles only." Works every time.

Could not get that to work for dates. HB's method does work tho. Doing a tag search for 2004-02-24 brings up this Deep Purple show-

odd now mudsters method worked when I tried it again and also brought up a Brian Wilson show. This is wierd

Okay, I get it now - have to use a year for it to work. I was just trying to search for "02-17" any year. Thanks guys - found a few new ones to include in the package.

It's her 60th birthday and I've got about a dozen shows from random bands on her birthdays. Should be fun!
