				Trader's Little Helper Newbie Question

			Hi All,

I just today installed Trader's Little Helper. I'm having no problem converting shn's to flac's. However whenever I try to convert .wav files to .flac from commercially-released CD's, no wav files from the cd appear. Here's what I'm doing at TLH: Click 'Format'>Encode wav files (encoding options format set to 'flac') I then click 'Add' Then I go to my DVD-RW drive where said commercially-released cd is located and I keep getting "No Items Match Your Search." The CD and the wav files are there in my DVD-RW drive but "No items" keep popping up. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance! Rip the files from your cd to your hard drive, then add them from there to the TLH directory.

A CD is not WAV files. TLH is expecting you to have a set of WAV files on your hard disc to be encoded, not the content of a redbook CD.

As was said, you need to rip the CD to create a set of WAV files on disc. EAC, dBPoweramp, etc will do this for you The following members like this post: vladsmythe
