Is This Lineage A Webcast Rip?
I'm working on another "SBD Archive" collection, and I came across this lineage:
"BBC Radio 2 320kbps AAC > Web PVR Manager > Adobe Audition cc > Tracks > fades > phase correction > flac. SBE fix/Checksum files done in Traders Little Helper" Is this a "webcast rip" = inadmissible here? Thanks, in advance, for your help! No members have liked this post.

Re: Is This Lineage A Webcast Rip?
Thanks!
I saw that, but I was still wondering because two analyses by (i) Audacity & (ii) Ocenaudio show the frequency sloping down smoothly and tailoring off beyond the benchmark "20,000 Hz." What could explain this? If the lineage didn't list "320 kbps," would this still be considered a webstream? Thanks, again, for any advice! No members have liked this post.

Re: Is This Lineage A Webcast Rip?
BBC broadcasts radio over DAB at up to 128kbps. You require a DAB radio to receive these broadcasts. These are digital.
BBC also streams their radio stations over the internet at a much higher bitrate 320kbps. These a vastly superior to the DAB over the air signal, but it is a web stream. Both are lossy sources but I would clearly rather listen to the 320kbps source. TTD needs to update their rules and allow these sort of recordings. And only a narc would report your torrent. Some info on the BBC internet streams - https://www.hifiwigwam.com/forum/top...adio-stations/ No members have liked this post.
