how do I know if this is loosy using cool edit 2.0
OK, I followed steps Five suggested in one of the threads - cool edit - options - settings..
Yet, how do I know for sure using cool edit if the show is mp3 sourced?? here is the example - No members have liked this post.

That's not what's needed. You provided this green waveform view. When you have this click on 'view' and then on 'spectral view'. And you should provide one spectral view pic for a whole song and one for only 2 seconds of this song.
