video has no sound

Hi, I downloded Neil Young at the BBC and have picture but no sound. I am running Windows Media Player 10 on XP Pro, all other Vids seem to work and no one else had this issue on the thread. Thanks Jay

could be numerous things, but i would recommend using a program like VLC for watching videos on yer comp

The Media Player Classic that comes with the DiVX codec bundle is very good at playing nearly everything, too..

alterbatelym you may have a codec problem on your machine. try getting something like this http://www.download.com/SuperEasy-Co...-10853251.html to check for problems.

I went with VLC and it worked perfectly, Thankyou for the help. I worked for Neil as his guitar tech for a while during the Blue Notes tour because Larry Cragg his usaul guy was playing Bass Sax. This was in the late 80's but his facial experessions are exactly the same. He also constantly made things like harmonicas, pics, and tuning a big production. That was a long time ago.
