ISO Remote for Sony DTC-A7 DAT recorder
I picked up a prestine condition Sony DTC-A7 on Ebay for transfering my old DAT masters to CDR and need to find a compatible remote for the unit. Does anyone know which remote model will work and where I could find one?
I'll eventually start seeding some of masters on here once I get up and running.

Re: ISO Remote for Sony DTC-A7 DAT recorder
the best would be to go DAT > digital out > M Audio or similar high quality sound card that doesn't resample automatically
to go DAT > digital out > standalone CD burner would be adding a needless CD-R gen, and if you have 48K DATs it will resample it to 44.1K with crappy on the fly resampling. as previously mentioned, you obviously don't wanna add an extra analog gen or conversion. No members have liked this post.

Re: ISO Remote for Sony DTC-A7 DAT recorder
Don't worry, I do actually know what I'm doing when it comes to transfers.
I'm using the DAT->Digital Coax->Echo Mia Digital In->Goldwave. This has worked great so far with no issues to speak of.
