Re: wav bitrate
if you ripped them from an audio cd with eac they be hard pressed to be anything else.

Re: wav bitrate
If you extracted from an audio CD using EAC, they must be 16bit 44.1KHz. That's CD redbook standard, and no audio CD will be anything else.

Re: wav bitrate
i usually use ffmpegx, which is a video/audio encoder & converter...but it'll also tell you the specs on a file
but as they said above, if you ripped a cd using EAC [PC] or xACT [Mac], then the files will undoubtedly be 16bit 44.1kHz wav/aiff files No members have liked this post.

Re: wav bitrate
As said, EAC will rip to wav and that is standard 16bit 44.1KHz. Perhaps what you are wondering is how to then make sure that the files you extracted were not made from mp3s originally?

If you're extracting with EAC, they are audio. If they are audio, by redbook standards, they must be 16/44.1. Maybe Lynne's on the right track, and it's just that you aren't asking the question you intend to ask? No members have liked this post.
