DOUBT ABOUT A RECORDING
HI mates,
i was wondering if one gig i have on wav files is lossless or lossy. I join the frequency analysis (audiocity) i made for one file of this gig. Let s hope someone will help me thanx in advance No members have liked this post.

hi we'll need an actual spectrum analyzer graph to be sure what you have.. please set the span of the view to about 2-3 seconds and the bandwidth to 0-20kHz. lowpass filtering isn't the only indicative trait of lossy data compression.. it is circumstantial, at best, as some completely linear recordings may also roll off for different reasons.
