May i ask for an opinion?
This is a 2000 recording of unknown origin (3 sec. samples)... I'd say "lossy", but doesn't it cut off TOO early for mp3 compression??
Any opinions are appreciated, thanks in advance!

its lossy for sure!
As well as the cutoff look at the telltale hyphen-shaped artifacts. give a listen, you should be able to hear it especially this one since its lower-than-average bitrate.
