newbie/techo inepet
I have several hundred audio bootlegs from the late eighties/ early nighties including masters how do i covert from tape to a PC friendly format, I also have hundreds of 8mm video masters which i am converting to dvd hopfully i'll have time to add some soon

You need a decent soundcard with PCA connectors. Hook your tape deck up and record using a suitable audio editing program such as Adobe Audition, Cooleditpro, Audacity (freeware). The soundcard may ship with suitable software.
