Yes, many torrent sites are being blocked for users located in the UK. This is done at an ISP level. Of course, there are many ways around these blocks.

Daniels way is also blocked. There is alot of official stuff there but the odd "legal" gem. Shame that the legal stuff brings down the wrath of the establishment.

Install the "AdBlock Plus" extension for Firefox or Chrome as it will remove all the ads on the torrent sites.
