Re: arena audio delay
just get a pre amp /amp and pull the music in to you... so there is no delay.

Re: arena audio delay
ya gotta find the sweet spot to record from, and use directional mics...usually the soundboard is a good starting place, then move out from there and use yer ears...arenas are almost always gonna have shite sound, but there's always one or two spots where you'll get minimal delay/phase issues another option is to use a baffle that'll shield yer mics from any of the reflective side/rear sound waves No members have liked this post.

Re: arena audio delay
answered yer pm as well, but for others who may have ther same question......
so what yer discussing is the perceived delay between a recording's audio & video...there is a formula that deals with meters from source/milliseconds, don't recall it exactly & it doesn't really matter for this...its a simple adjustment in yer NLE move the entire audio track one frame at a time until it appears synced [sync w/ drum/cymbal hits, NOT vocals/mouth] notes: -- it'll most likely take no more than 1 or 2 frames -- yer results may appear different on a TV than it does on yer computer monitor -- alcohol, cannabis, etc affects yer perception of the delay -- edit sober No members have liked this post.
