gunbarrel, everything you need to know in order to forward your ports and get unfirewalled is at www.portforward.com . Just hit the Port Forwarding link on the top, find your router in the list, click on the bittorrent client you are using and then you will get specific instructions on how to forward your ports (and how to set up a static local IP). If you get stuck and need further assistance, then post back here with your questions.
