Not really "techno" per se
I'm trading with a European guy. What's the best way to get him 2 DVDs for free (read: no monetary cost to me)?

Re: Not really "techno" per se
Steal the dvds and the padded envelope, steam some postage stamps off the old ladies outgoing mail that lives next door; as for not having to pay for the electricity to power your computer to do the burning, well, your on your own.

Re: Not really "techno" per se
I siphon electricity from my neighbor, too, using his 100-foot extension cord.
So snail mail is the best bet? No members have liked this post.

Re: Not really "techno" per se
Are these DVD-video files?
If so, download WinRar. Once installed "right click" on the VIDEO_TS folder and click "Add to Archive" . In the "general" tab there should be a "split into volumes, bytes" drop down list. Type in "52428800" (that equals 50 megabytes) and press the "OK" button. You'll then get a bunch of files. Upload them all to a free hosting site like: www.medifire.com www.savefile.com www.sendspace.com This part will probably take you a few days if you want to send 2 whole DVDs worth! Send the links to your European trader. He will need to download all the files and then he can use WinRAR to join the files back together to get his VIDEO_TS folder. In my opinion, just spend the few $$ it costs to mail him the discs. No members have liked this post.
