Mac video editing ?
whats a good program to use to strip a vid of its cam audio and add a different source?

i'm assuming by "vid" you mean DVD
first you need to demux, which leaves you with the audio track [ac3, PCM, etc] & video track [m2v] -- MPEGStreamclip is free and does a fine job next, take the m2v file and the new audio track and re-sync in your DVD authoring program [DVD Studio Pro is what i'm familiar with, guessing you can do this in iDVD as well]...build the new menus, etc. & yer done PM me if ya need any help No members have liked this post.

it shouldn't have a problem with the demuxing part, as long as you have sufficient RAM [512MB should be enough]
however, if i remember correct the Macbook is like the Mini in that it uses the Intel GMA graphics card [it'll say in yer System Profile]...if so, DVD Studio Pro won't run on the comp...iDVD will, so you might have to re-sync/author using that No members have liked this post.
