now this is weird...I downloaded and uploaded that beach Boys 74 show, which was just recently posted here and it showed up in my ratio on recent activity. Then I had no one downloading and had to shut down my computer, so I stopped seeding and now I have no ratio at all again.

Still not showing any ratio. Is it related to the fact I am on a Mac maybe? I have downloaded and uploaded a few things already. Guess I am stuck at zero.

OK, I am having some ratio issues here.....my ratio is super low, and part of that I know the cause of, but I don't think I am being properly credited for uploading. I also left a couple of Grateful dead torrents running for about 10 days or so while I was on vacation, and apparently the last pieces failed hash check over and over again and I downloaded over 50 gigs each on two separate torrents . I have been having these hash check problems lately and it is causing my ratio to be terrible....according to my data, I should be around 50% to 60% realistically. Sometimes my system crashes as well, and I don't get to click stop or cancel on my torrents. I am using the latest version of Bittornado!! Any help would be appreciated...my ratio is appalling!!

I have downloaded three torrents recently, prior to which my ratio was 0.0. The first of these, Robert Plant & the Strange Sensation/Berlin was a 422.9MB download. I uploaded 584.6MB and according to Azureus (2.2.0.2) my ratio was 1.375 but the tracker remained at 425.15/306.22=0.72. Simularly, on the two other (Rolling Stones) torrents: Unplugged 297.6 DL/331.9 UL=1.113 and Alive & Dressed To Kill 673.9 DL/642.9 UL=0.950. The tracker currently shows me with 971.38/476.02=0.49.
I have checked that all of these torrents are on the new tracker, and followed the other directions discribed at the beginning of this thread. I have a W2K OS.
I guess you might be able to correct my ratio for me, but in the long run I hope you can get this problem permanently solved. It must be a bit of a hassle ! At any rate, thanx for your time and effort!

I'm getting really fed up with this tracker.

uploaded 14 GB for a sts9 DVD this week. No credit
uploaded 6 GB for treyDVD. No credit
dowloaded 1.5GB for treyDVD uploaded 3.5 ..showed up as 2.5GB DL 1.5 UL

I have been keeping my eye on the stats for the last few weeks. I was starting to think it was ME

I even go to the point of writting down the UL/DL for each torrent and the overall UL/DL and then comparing it to the site. It's never correct. I think that these new trackers that are coming out are beta..not to say that I'm not enjoying the new features becuase I am. I'm just pointing out that they're not perfect.

I don't think anyone here really cares if you have a 0.78 or a 1.15. Firstly it just isn't possible to go 1:1 for everything. Secondly, there's a lot of ways to share. I like to burn 3/4 copies and just surprise a friend with a killer show.

So lets all say "cheers" and not worry about stats!

jabbo, if you download/upload a torrent on the new tracker now, you should start getting a ratio. I just found a tracker programming error this morning that made all users after user number 65535 (you are 65995) not show any stats. I tracked down the problem this morning and fixed it.

mine has not changed
I ran a SRV DVD torrent since Saturday.
Over 7 gigs upped just to increase my ratio

nothing
no change to my upload status
I am not running the torrent now, cut it off earlier today.
cleared my cookies too, just incase that was the issue

not sure what the deal is

I've read on another forum somewhere that if UDP Tracker protocol is enabled, then your stats sometimes don't get reported correctly.

The analogy went something like this (the original explanation was much better mind you!); Normal (TCP?) reporting is like ringing up next door, the neighbour answers, and you tell them "I've uploaded x, and downloaded y", so you have confirmed that they can hear you. With UDP, it is similar, except it just broadcasts the stats, and is like shouting out the window to the neighbour and assuming they have heard you, without any confirmation from them. So they may have heard you but also may not.

If this is true, it might be wise for those having trouble with their stats not updating to change their settings.

In Azureus, Tools-Options-Tracker-Client-untick "enable UDP tracker client protocol".

yep but weird: before change I was not visable on SRV torrent, then got ratio 0.97 while in fact it's over 1

Hello,

It looks like my stats have frozen as of last night.

Currently, my Azureus client reports a share ratio 0f 0.73, which corresponds to 5.6GB download and 4.1GB upload.

My account, however, is frozen at 0.55, with 4.77GB download and 2.64GB upload...which is what I had last night before going to bed. So something caused my ratio to freeze overnight.

Please help!

hi, i've just downloaded my first show off TTD.i mostly use PLG and DAD.I have an above average ratio on both sites,i am seeding this show the share ratio is 2.5+ but i appear to have neither up or downloaded anything.Any advice?

tomska, are you downloading a recent show (one uploaded since July 2)? Torrents that were uploaded prior to July 2 will not do anything to your stats.
