I found the last one on google. The reason I didn't try that is that on the downloadpage for TDSSKiller a few people commented that running this software ruined their computer.

I've used it recently, (Windows 7), and have no ill effects, make sure you set a restore point and you should be good to go . . .

Have you found the cause yet? If not I would seriously think about a fresh install of your OS.

Still have to try the solution you gave to recode the error code so it can be found via google. Instead of a fresh install is it also possible to use the option 'system restore'?

Of course you could try that if you have a restore point from before the issue rose.
