Well damn, I wasn't expecting this. It feels like TTD is one of those places that has always existed. Gonna be real weird to not have a... fourth or fifth torrent tracker to obsessively refresh. DIME, Lossless Legs and YEESHKUL! are my main places, and I also browse etree, but that place kinda sucks.
Thanks for all the great memories, even if I never really talked here. Coincidentally, one of my neighbors died today too. I'm not sure which is more important.

Thanks so much for everything! I literally built my entire Pink Floyd collection from the generous folks here, replacing tons of cruddy cassettes with the good stuff
 Whenever I had a request from an old friend, I could almost always find material here. This place rocks and will be missed by many!

Well, as one of the first members and one of the biggest uploaders it's hard for me to envision a world without TTD. Very sad news for sure. Thanks Lynne and everyone else who kept this site viable for so long.
