LL is a taper friendly band site. If there isn't a taper section at the show it doesn't go there. It's also primarily a Grateful Dead site, and as such is overrun with 100 versions of a show with minute differences. Hard to sift through

Many thanks to everyone who made this site possible. It's a huge loss, I don't know of any other tracker with this amount of Steely Dan content.

Re: We've had a great 18 years!

Joining the thanks parade here. I've gotten some wonderful shows here that never popped up on DIME from many artists that weren't on their NAB list. That showed the quality and diversity that we're losing here. As far as that NAB list there, I'm a huge Todd Rundgren fan since the early 70's. Therefore I'll be missing those kinds of things, and things from some other jazz artists like John Scofield, that couldn't ever be on DIME. Sorry about that, and hoping that something else may fill that void, but the biggest thing is thanks to all for keeping this operating, and for all the great shares.

They get most of their stuff from TTD and Dime and rarely give credit to the source

Plus if you don't visit for 30 days they delete your account

As for G101, that's great for people downloading, but for a major uploader like me I'd now have to pay for a ton of server space to host the files. I do torrents because I host for a few hours, then they take on their own lives.

18 years is a long time to dedicate to sharing all this great music (it takes at least that long to raise a human being). Thank you so much for all the effort. I know I am not alone in appreciating your hard work, kindness, and generosity.

Re: We've had a great 18 years!

Damn, very sad news!
Its a great site, worked fine for me, never thought it was obsolete. So you surely did a great job!
TTD has a special place in the bootleg community, for certain styles surely. And in general too, since there are less and less bootleg sites...
Big loss to us!

Re: We've had a great 18 years!

I will miss this site. It served much purpose, and did that well. I am glad I checked in when I did, and, in fact, found something I should have kept all these years, but didn't. One last dance on this tracker.

Thank you Traders Den curators, mods, and fellow sharing enthusiasts... listen to the music play!

On a serious note, thank you all at TTD for making this site such a great resource for collecting music history. I got some great shows here that I still thoroughly enjoy and share. You will be missed and you are ending your run on a high note. Thank you thank you for all your generosity in sharing music. This was always a top notch site. My highest regards to you all. peace - Charles
