Just a thought, was thought put to the legal implications of this? I just mention it because DaD has always intentionally not kept 'snatched' statistics so they would have a degree of plausible deniability if they were ever asked to turn over download stats under a legal order if a band('s lawyer) ever chose to do a 180 on allowing trading of their material.

Just restart the torrent and point it at the folder where you already started...your client will check what you have against the torrent and pick up where you left off...

I agree. It's sometimes hard to stay 1:1 with TTD torrents. It's just not possible with most connections. Having said that...there should be a .5 ratio to keep people honest.

Like chachi and others have said. Mail trade. I took their advice and I'm getting 30 new dvd's a week right now. There's so much out there now. Here, Dime, boot, purlive, yusheek, mininova, how are you going to download all of that? Mail trade and make your life easy.

People will have to be selective and smart about what they grab. It could backfire because of less people on each torrent.

I like the snatchers list too..but unlike other "snackers" list that I have seen, it doesn't show the up/dl. Our list is not 100% fair because someone could jump off early..but have upped 10:1 but it appears like a hit and run. I guess the system will get better with time..not complaining.

Mail trade, mail trade, mail trade. that's the key.Use download partners, work together getting the shows you want and then trade with eachother. Where there's a will there's a way. And the argument of "there being no demand" and jumping off is pretty much BS. On this board torrents never seem to die there are always a handful of people that mssed the boat on a show and would like in. The problem is jumping on to that next torrent before you've shared enough... I'd like to see a minimal enforcement just to keep honest people honest,a nd to encourage those who don't have ports forwarded to learn how. .3 or .4???

I would say 1% of the ppl that dl from these sites post in the threads. Why would anyone care that his made up name is on a list of ppl who didn't share?
