Re: What's with Hungercity again?
It will be a welcome relief when the site is back up and running. I'm looking forward to seeing all my old friends there again.

Re: What's with Hungercity again?
Obviously this is a unusual and completely unforeseen complication of a highly technical nature that we can not expect to comprehend.

Re: What's with Hungercity again?
Although I do not have the wherewithall to donate cash to that or any tracker, I did donate my time, effort, bandwidth and in some instances my own master field recordings to the HC tracker. I feel some, if not most, would agree that standing in the rain for two hours recording a blues show has some value, at least to the recordist.
I am appalled that such a recording would appear to be used in a VERY minor way as part of the come on for what very much appears to be a money grab. Unless it is proven to me that HC has it's fiscal house in order and everything is on the up and up, and I find that unlikely, I'll never up there again. I am, however, looking forward to HC going back on line so I can drop in and leech my ass off. No members have liked this post.

Re: What's with Hungercity again?
Well said arf. Your recordings are really appreciated. You are good enough to share them with the rest of us for nothing - guys like you are the lifeblood of the torrents

Re: What's with Hungercity again?
Doggone it, this is just wrong!
While there is an old saw that says roughly: "Even a blind pig sometimes finds a truffle", my work runs the full spectrum of quality. Never had top shelf gear, though I did have some gear that fell off lower shelves, and ended up refurbished and at the Sony outlet in Kenosha, WI. For sure all the masters that I upped to HC are total crap, not worth looking at, and each and everyone of them is available at other trackers PLEASE do not praise them, or ShaReef will jack his prices up! Seriously, thanks to all for the kind words! No members have liked this post.

Re: What's with Hungercity again?
I pride myself in grabbing every arfarf recording, and I am now so spoiled, nothing else will do. There, I said it.
