Trying to figure out if my equipment has problems
2nd show in 6 months where the recording comes out mono (first time left channel only last time right) dont remember anything happening (obviously)
should I be worried or is it something I just need to double check before pressing record No members have liked this post.

Re: Trying to figure out if my equipment has problems
sounds like either you need to make sure your mics/cables are fully plugged in, or you could have bad cable(s)
so you aren't actually getting a mono recording, just 1 channel is being recorded? a true mono recording can be achieved by changing your settings, but it sounds like that's not your problem i've accidentally recorded with a mic cable that wasn't plugged in all the way. Re: Trying to figure out if my equipment has problems
it happened once before (about 3 months ago), was at a show last night, came home and its only in the right channel (nothing but a faint buzz on the left). the other show was left only channel
I think I might have bumped it (it was a 2 hour seated show i had to go super covert) so it might have come lose then (too bad I saw don henley and this was that recording) No members have liked this post.
