Re: music to post
I'm assuming your audio is on CD. Here are the programs I would use:
1. EAC - use this to rip your CD to a WAV file on your computer http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/ 2. CDWav - If you need to split your WAV file into multiple tracks then use this program http://www.milosoftware.com/cdwave/ Use Windows Explorer to rename all your .WAV files in a readable way (take a look how other people have done it). 3.Trader's Little Helper - This program will convert the WAV files into FLAC http://tlh.easytree.org/ 4. Foobar2000 - Once you have FLAC files, load them all into Foobar2000 and then tag them (i.e. add track numbers, artist, track names as meta data) https://www.foobar2000.org/ 5. Create a text file that lists information such as Date, Artist, Venue, Recording Information, Transfer Information, Generation, Track Listing, comments. Take a look at existing torrents on this site to see what is expected. You can use Windows Notepad or Notepad++ (Don't use Microsoft Word) https://notepad-plus-plus.org/ 6. Use Trader's Little Helper to create .md5 and .ffp checksums for your FLAC and .txt file 7. Use Trader's Little Helper to create a .torrent file 8. Upload the resulting .torrent file to The Traders' Den http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/upload.php?f=12 Also, check out the FAQ here: http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/...faq_audioguide No members have liked this post.

Re: music to post
It might help to know what you recorded them on, if they are still in the original format that they were recorded in (Cassette, DAT, etc), and what other audio gear you have available at the moment.
As a for instance, if you have put them on CD, but you still have original cassettes, the best method is to use the original cassette with a digital recorder to generate the files - no point in going via CD if there's no need to. But much will depend on what you have available, gear-wise No members have liked this post.

Re: music to post
are these burned audio cdrs that work in a normal cd player or flac sets?
often audio cdr copies come from well-circulated recordings.. often burned cdrs have little crackles and problems added from copying. what you want to look for in the box is the unique stuff that has little to no circulation. then check that there isn't a crystal-clear clean version of the exact same already shared here. try to remember the story of where each show came from as much you can (lineage). you'll probably be pleasantly to find some upgrades to your established collection here at ttd and similar sites. welcome. we look forward to your questions
