.ffp question

If I have a show with only .md5 or nothing. is it enough to make a .ffp to make sure that the flack files is ok, or do I need to test encode them to ?
and is it enough to make a st5 on .ape files ?

probably okay, depending on where you got it.
of course it has to be verified by the md5.
i sometimes decode to wavs and run a tlh mpeg test if i'm not sure of the source, then just make an ffp and note that on your torrent description.
i don't think i've done any ape torrents

Re: .ffp question

as I thought too. I have no doubt about the files 168gb of U2, I was mostly curious, because it has happened on other shows that the md5 pass ok but the .ffp found one or two flac,s corrupted ?

Re: .ffp question

that sounds suspect. i don't think i'd torrent it, but might keep it for personal use, if it decodes okay.
