firewall fury!
ok im bad with computers and live in a rented room that has a high speed internet cable. i dont know what my landlords setup is but apparently im behind a firewall.how do i do port forwarding to free up my speed and connect to more peers?

First off, I love the thread title.
In order to forward your ports, you need to have access to the router. Is that something you have access to or is it something your landlord controls? You need the router model number and then you can go to www.portforward.com, hit the link to Forwarding, find your router on the list, then select your bittorrent client from the next list, and then you will get detailed instructions on how to forward the ports for your client in your router.
