Is Rolling Stones "Satanic Sessions" ok to U/L?
This set comprises two volumes of 4 silvers each, all with demos, sessions and alternate takes on the Satanic period.
Would a Stones expert please advise if this set is OK to seed? It'll be my first and I don't want to break the rules/waste a bunch of hours. Thanks all. No members have liked this post.

Looks like no news, is good news. As long as there not
lossy or officially released, I'd say go for it. Make sure you have lineage and ffp's. No members have liked this post.

Re: Is Rolling Stones "Satanic Sessions" ok to U/L?
Are these them?
http://web.ukonline.co.uk/rickenbacker/page40.html "The First Volume Of Two From Midnight Beat's 4CD Box sets, Which Includes Over Eight Hours Of The Rolling Stones At Work In The Studio. All Tracks From These Sets Are The Instrumental Backing Tracks, Prior To Vocal & Other Overdubs. " - this looks fine to seed if what they write is true http://web.ukonline.co.uk/rickenbacker/page41.html "More Instrumental Studio Outtakes From The Stones Olympic Sessions In 1967 & 1968. The Final Disc In This Set Includes Early Takes Of 'Jigsaw Puzzle', From A Session Recorded For The Beggars Banquet Album In March 1968." - I can't really tell if this is all OK or not.

Re: Is Rolling Stones "Satanic Sessions" ok to U/L?
Yep, the links are the right ones. As far as I know, nothing has been released, however "Child of the Moon", extended though it is, sounds like the released take and seems unlikely to be a demo (would the Beatles make a demo or just perform as guests with the Stones?). Also, many takes have vocals contrary to the quote above.
A definitive green or red light by the mods would be appreciated. Thanks all. No members have liked this post.

Re: Is Rolling Stones "Satanic Sessions" ok to U/L?
Thank you, Graham.
merday, you are good to go. A couple of us have looked it over and don't see anything wrong with the box sets. Like I said before, just rip using EAC and if you remember to save the log file, include that since many traders like to have that. As a personal question, I like the Stones but wonder is this for a collector or would a casual listener (like me) enjoy it also?
