Album Artwork and iTunes
My question is one which has been bugging me for a while, and no one seems to be able to give me a solution. If it doesn't belong in this forum, mods feel free to move/delete as you see fit. Everytime I download/receive shows (which are in lossless formats, and I intend to keep them that way), and put them on iTunes in WAV format, iTunes will not let me edit/create artwork for the album. Any file I add in WAV gets an 'album artwork not modifiable' message slapped on it, and it bugs me because I like to have the artwork show up and if there isn't any I more often than not make my own. So is there any way I can avoid this or is this just a permanently irritating feature of iTunes? Thanks for any input,
Mike No members have liked this post.

Re: Album Artwork and iTunes
are the wavs specified as Read-only maybe?
other than that i dunno, cuz i really don't like iTunes at all...fwiw, i prefer Cog as a player [no converting to wav, it'll play flac/shn files directly], and use Photoshop to make artwork sorry i wasn't much help, good luck No members have liked this post.

Re: Album Artwork and iTunes
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that WAV is not a format that is capable of tagging using metadata. This would be the reason that you can't add artwork.
