help for the initiated please !
Hi, brand new to the site - could someone please give me a quick non technical guide on how to download the files and convert to audio please - I do have broadband width but am of a non technical nature and just require some simple advice on how to download/covert files - I use roxio as a burner generally - any help really appreciated

There are a handful of technical issues that you must understand before getting into downloading, converting, and burning to CD. Unfortunately, it's not as simple as giving a quick, tech-free guide which is why we've set the FAQ up.
I'll tell you the same thing I tell everyone who asks this question: take some time with the FAQ, read the entries, try the methods, and post back if you get stuck. It will take a few hours of tinkering and testing things out before you get it, but once you do, I promise you'll be glad you did. And we're here to help if you have problems along the way.

And if you are on Winblow$ then you might want to consider getting Nero Burning ROM as it can burn audio CDs straight from .FLAC/SHN without requiring 3rd party conversion software. Might I also suggest that you start keeping track of your accquisitions at db.etree.org as well. Enjoy No members have liked this post.
