VOB files with different aspect ratios?
I have a trade DVD here and when I checked the VOB's (GSpot) it says that the first VTS file is 4:3 and the rest are 16:9 (see attachment) When played on my PC (with MPC or VLC) the dvd is being displayed as 4:3. When burned to a disc and played on my SA the aspect ratio is 4:3 as well. Also GSpot only displays a codec (S170) for VTS_01_1.VOB but not for the other VOB files.
Any ideas?

Re: VOB files with different aspect ratios?
does it look funny on your TV? like squashed or stretched? was it a 16:9 broadcast that was recorded @ 4:3? You can rewrite the headers to the correct aspect ratio without re-encoding with DVD patcher (free): http://www.videohelp.com/tools/DVDPatcher
