skydrive is not unlike dropbox + offers much more for remote computing
another really cool feature is the ability to access files / folders / entire hard drives from anywhere to anywhere example: Load the SkyDrive App on a few workstations (using the same Live.com login) then, from any wrkstn/laptop/tablet/phone you can open/save/stream data from any of your other online workstations.
